The Bet Experience Empowers Lovehealthy.Org With An Opportunity To Change Millions Of Lives Using Hollywood’s Biggest Stars To Fight For Global Health And Wellness

Fitness and Fashion Expert, Angela Simmons, Top Model, Eva Marcille, NBA Champion, John Salley, “The Game’s”  Hosea Chanchez, and others join Reed For Hope Foundation to build healthy communities 

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 25, 2015) – The Reed For Hope Foundation, founded by Emmy Award-winning casting director Robi Reed, joins forces with AIDS Healthcare Foundation and BET’s Rap-It-Up, to present The Love Healthy Wellness Pavilion with a full line up of high energy, interactive wellness sessions and the world’s largest virtual workout/fitness flash mob at the 2015 BET Experience at LA Live. This two-day event will be held at the Staples Center, 1111 S. Figueroa, Los Angeles, CA 90015, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 27, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 28.

Highlights of Saturday’s sessions include a stellar Hip Hop In Heels™ workout with trainer/owner, Brandee Evans, hosted by model and actress, Eva Marcille. Television personality, fashion designer  and entrepreneur Angela Simmons, will host the Fitness Trainer Meet-up at 4:00 p.m. followed by the World’s Largest Virtual Workout/Fitness Flash Mob at 4:30 p.m. Actress and philanthropist, Nicole Ari Parker, will headline Working Women Working Out: An Interactive Discussion, at 5 p.m., and Fit Together, a couples-focused workout session at 5:30 p.m. that will include Parker’s husband, special guest, Boris Kodjoe (“The Boris and Nicole Show”) and husband-wife duo, veteran actors, Dondré Whitfield and Salli Richardson Whitfield (“Being Mary Jane”). NBA Champion and wellness advocate, John Salley will host a lively Vegan Power discussion at 6 p.m. Actress and Life Coach A.J. Johnson with a R&B/Hip-Hop performance with Keith Robinson and DJ Cavem who recently performed at the White House.

Sunday’s highlights include two sessions sponsored by AIDS Healthcare Foundation and BET’s Rap-It-Up. Step for Status, a high energy Greek step show with actor Darrin Dewitt Henson (“Stomp The Yard”), begins at 12:30 p.m. The Reality of Sex, An Arousing Conversation, moderated by AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s Samantha Granberry, will begin at 3 p.m. Panelists include love/sex expert Shannon Boodram, social media sensation and self-proclaimed  “Heart Healer,” Rob Hill, Sr., who has been described as a young Dr. Phil, award-winning humanitarian and AIDS/HIV activist Hydeia Broadbent, and actor/comedian Affion Crockett.

Throughout the two-day event, BET Experience attendees will have the opportunity to work out and gain inspiration from some of the country’s most celebrated fitness trainers including Michael Blanks, Dolvett Quince (“The Biggest Loser”), Massy, Rahman Grayson, Deanna Jefferson, AJ Johnson, Luther Freeman and Kathy Drayton. With the Fit To Party Pass, the Reed For Hope Foundation is also providing attendees the chance to have health screenings like blood pressure and AIDS testing done.
